Community Impact

This private food tour has a significant impact on the community by showcasing locally sourced, authentic Chicago cuisine.

From the start, our WeVenture tours are designed to support small businesses and provide them exposure to a wider audience. By fostering a sense of community where the respect is mutual and the relationship is symbiotic, we help drive revenue to the local vendors who we know and love in Chicago.

On a private tour, we’re able to visit family-owned businesses that carry on traditional recipes over generations and help preserve this heritage.

By promoting diversity and encouraging cultural exchange, our tours lessen the divide in the segregation of Chicago and invite our guests to explore uniqueness in the neighborhoods they might not find on their own. As a result, this fosters a sense of community and helps to create a positive image of Chicago.

Highlights

The Loop (Chicago)

Your tour takes place in this lively neighborhood of shopping, nightlife, performing arts scenes, and, of course, restaurants with the best food Chicago has to offer! Experience iconic dishes of the city such as the renowned deep-dish pizza, a Chicago staple, draws locals and visitors alike with its thick crust, hearty layers of cheese, and savory toppings. The city’s love affair with food continues with the famous Italian beef sandwich, featuring thinly sliced seasoned roast beef on an Italian roll, often dipped in flavorful jus. For a quick and classic Chicago snack, hot dogs loaded with toppings provide a savory delight. And, no visit to the Loop is complete without enjoying Chicago-style popcorn, a delightful mix of caramel and cheese flavors, showcasing the city’s diverse and delicious food culture.

Chicago Riverwalk

If the weather is good, we’ll be able to take a wander down to this iconic river and soak in the views it has to offer. Sights include Marina Towers, the Britannica Building, and the Sears Tower (now known as the Willis Tower).

Sears Tower – Willis Tower

The Willis Tower is a 110-story, 1,451-foot skyscraper in the Loop community area of Chicago. Designed by architect Bruce Graham and engineer Fazlur Rahman Khan of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, it opened in 1973 as the world’s tallest building, a title that it held for nearly 25 years.
