Barry was a phenomenal tour guide. He was informative, interesting and funny. Our tour guide Heather was wonderful. She was a lot of fun to be with and gave us so much history and information about the places we visited and the food we tasted. Together, we discovered so many special stores for all different kinds of food and now we have a much better understanding of this wonderful area of Philadelphia. I took the 2.5 hour history tour with Nina. She was a fantastic tour guide who really knew her stuff. She brought history alive against the backdrop of Philadelphia. She also interjected history with some fun facts, which kept the tour fresh and interesting. She was very engaging with all the tour goers.

WeVenture’s public tours offer a unique, local vision of the destination you’re exploring. Created and led by local, unscripted, engaging guides, our join-in tours dive into topics ranging from history and architecture to food and drink to music and public art. While most of our public tours are on foot, you may also find yourself traveling by public transit or kayak or rideshare.
WeVenture is committed to sustainability and community support throughout tours. We partner with locally-owned businesses, include donations to local non-profit organizations, and, when possible, utilize zero-waste practices.
